Style-Laneway reserves the right to close accounts if you are seen to be using proxy IPs (Internet Protocol addresses) in order to attempt to hide the use of multiple accounts or disrupt any of our services in any way.
If you use multiple accounts for the purpose of disrupting the Style-Laneway Blogs you may have action taken against all of your accounts.
If you sign into any area of this Website or any other service that uses a single-sign on (e.g. Facebook Connect) on a public computer (e.g. at a university, public library etc,) and do not sign out, someone else who uses that computer after you may be able to access your Style-Laneway account(s). 6. STYLE-LANEWAY Blogs
The following terms and conditions apply to your use of the Style-Laneway Blogs.
· Submission of material
You own all of the content and information you post on Fashion Finder and the Blogs section (Style-Laneway Blogs) of the Website, and you can control how it is shared through your Policy settings. In addition:
For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos (IP content), you specifically give us the following permission, subject to your Policy settings: you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you post on or in connection with Style-Laneway (IP License). This includes for example and without limitation the right and license to use, reproduce, modify, edit, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such material (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed. In certain circumstances Style-Laneway may also share your contribution with trusted third parties.
This IP License ends when you delete your IP content or your account unless your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it. You also acknowledge that Style-Laneway is not obliged to publish any material submitted by you on any Style-Laneway publication.
When you delete IP content, it is deleted in a manner similar to emptying the recycle bin on a computer. However, you understand that removed content may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time (but will not be available to others).
When you use an application, your content and information is shared with the application. We require applications to respect your privacy, and your agreement with that application will control how the application can use, store, and transfer that content and information.
When you publish content or information using the "Public" setting, it means that you are allowing everyone, including other Website users, to access and use that information, and to associate it with you (i.e. your name and profile picture). We advise that you never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else (telephone number, home address, business address, delivery address or email address or any other details that would allow you to be personally identified).
We always appreciate your feedback or other suggestions about Style-Laneway, but you understand that we may use them without any obligation to compensate you for them (just as you have no obligation to offer them).
If you do not want to grant Style-Laneway the permission set out above on these terms, please do not submit or share your contribution on the Style-Laneway Blogs areas.
· Failure to comply
If you fail to abide by the Rules you may be sent an email which informs you why any contribution you have made has been refused or edited. This email will also include a warning that continuing to break the Rules may result in action being taken against your account or accounts.
This action may include any content posted by you being checked before it is allowed to go on the Website or a temporary or permanent suspension of your ability to participate in any or all areas of Style-Laneway.
Terms of Sale
By placing an order for any goods on our Website you are offering to purchase the goods on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are limited to Australia and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible.
In order to contract with Style-Laneway you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. Style-Laneway retains the right to refuse any order made by you.
When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods.
The cost of foreign goods and services may fluctuate. All prices advertised are subject to such changes. Please be aware that some of the goods sold through our Websites may not be suitable for children under 18 years of age, so please take extra care when purchasing goods as gifts, for under 18’s.
. Our Contract
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. This email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us for the purchase of the goods will not be formed until your payment has been approved and our billing agent has debited your credit or debit card.
a. Pricing and Availability
Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the 'Total Cost'.
The issuer of your credit or debit card may charge currency conversion or other fees in relation to your order. You should check with the issuer of your credit or debit card for details of any such fees.
We appoint Social-Laneway Pty Ltd (ACN 163 817 418) of 753/99 Jones Street, ULTIMO NSW 2007 as our billing agent to invoice and collect payment for the goods you are purchasing on our behalf, so you will see their name on your invoice and on your transaction history if you pay by credit or debit card. Please contact our Admin Team (email@example.com) if you have any questions about invoicing and payment for goods.
Upon receiving your order, our billing agent carries out a standard pre-authorisation check on your credit or debit card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Goods will not be dispatched until this pre-authorisation check has been completed. Your card will be debited once your payment has been approved.
c. Discount Codes
i. Account discount codes - Discount codes may from time to time be offered to account holders; such codes may only be applied to purchases made through the account in respect of which the discount code was offered and registered.
ii. Promotional discount codes - We may from time to time offer promotional discount codes which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made though this Website.
iii. Any further conditions of use relating to any discount code will be specified at the time of issue.
These T&Cs relate to all Style-Laneway promotions, competitions and discount codes (unless otherwise stated).
d. Only one promotion code can be used per order
e. Maximum pre-discount spend limit of $1000 applies per order
f. Selected brand exclusions may apply
g. A promotion code can't be used after an order has been placed
d. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are only valid for a limited time and the voucher must be used by the date shown on the voucher – check your voucher to find out when to use it by.
. We’re afraid we can’t accept any responsibility for stolen or deleted gift vouchers.
i. We’ll despatch your gift voucher either as soon as payment has been cleared or on your specified delivery date (if this is later). We’re afraid we can’t be responsible for any delays, no matter how they are caused.
ii. If you are the purchaser, please double check the delivery email address you enter – it is your responsibility to do so and we’re afraid we can’t be held responsible if a gift voucher is used by someone other than your recipient if the email address entered is incorrect. In addition, we can’t take responsibility for any gift vouchers that are lost or used by someone other than your recipient after delivery. Make sure your recipient has received their gift voucher, as it is their responsibility to keep the voucher details safe.
iii. From time to time, gift vouchers may get caught in pesky spam filters, and it’s up to the recipient to check these filters. We can’t take responsibility if a gift voucher cannot be delivered to the recipient’s email address because of spam filters, firewalls, the capacity of the recipient’s mailbox or any other factors outside of our control.
iv. If you need a refund, this will be made in the same way as the original payment method (such as onto a gift voucher, debit/credit card account, or a combination of the two).
e. Returns and Collections
. Returning goods if they are faulty
You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You also may be entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If you think that there is a fault with the goods you have received, please let us know straight away by contacting our Admin Team (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please include as many details as possible about the order and the problem with the goods.
i. Returning goods if you change your mind or need a different size
In addition to your rights in relation to faulty goods, you can return any goods within 14 days (overseas customer) or 7 days (Australian customer) of receipt for a credit note or to exchange.
Please note that in the interests of hygiene, goods marked with a next to the product name cannot be returned, unless they have remained in their original wrapping or are faulty.
If you change your mind about the goods (including the size or colour), the goods returned must be in their original condition, which includes any packaging. For example, shoes are to be returned along with the original shoe box. All goods will be inspected on return.
ii. Returns generally
This section applies to the return of all goods, regardless of whether they are faulty or you choose your mind or need a different size.
You are responsible for the costs of returning goods to us. Any goods returned are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. Please ensure you package your return to prevent any damage to the goods or boxes. We are not responsible for any goods that are returned to us in error.
Please use the label on your delivery and returns note, enclosed with your goods.

Collection of personal information
Personal information” is basically information or an opinion that can identify you.
The personal information we may ask for includes:
Information that identifies you, such as your name, address and date of birth;
Your delivery address;
Your email address;
Your telephone number; and
Your debit/credit card details.
When we conduct market research and profiling, we may also ask you for your opinions about fashion, websites and customer service.
We also collect information about visitors to this Website using cookies and code embedded in this Website, as described in the “What are cookies?” and “Site Statistics” sections of this policy.
Generally, if we do ask you for personal information, we will endeavour to say which information we require and which information is optional.
Use of personal information
We usually collect personal information from you so that we can provide you with the goods you want. We may also use personal information for other reasons, including:
updating you on our latest products, news and special offers (unless you tell us not to – which you can do at any time); and
conducting appropriate anti-fraud checks (this is done only to confirm your identity – a credit check is not performed and your credit rating is unaffected).
If you don’t provide some of the personal information we ask for (e.g. your name and address), we may be unable to provide you with the goods you want.
If we disclose your personal information to any of our group companies, they may use it for the same purposes that we may (including so that they can update you on their latest products, news and special offers via e-mail, post & telephone).
Disclosure of personal information
We may disclose your personal information to any of our group companies.
We will provide personal information about our customers to third parties outside our group companies. These third parties usually help us in providing goods and services to you, and include:
Couriers (who we arrange to deliver goods to you on our behalf);
Organisations who carry out credit, fraud and other security checks; and
outsourced service providers (e.g. market research agencies).
We may also disclose your personal information to third parties outside our group of companies:
Where we have your express permission to do so;
Where it can reasonably be inferred from the circumstances that you consent to the disclosure to the third parties;
In the event that Style-Laneway sells or buys any business or assets;
if Style-Laneway or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data which we hold about our customers may be one of the transferred assets; or
if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Style-Laneway, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
We try to limit the information we provide to third parties to the information they need to help us provide goods and services to you. We also enter into contracts with these third parties that require them to meet the privacy standards we set for ourselves in handling your personal information, and use your personal information only for the purposes we gave it to them.
Communication & Marketing
If you have made a purchase from our store we may occasionally update you on our latest products, news and special offers via e-mail, post & telephone. You will also be given the opportunity to receive such communications from us and selected third parties when you become a member of Style-Laneway.
